In a magnificent display of international recognition, Senior Presidential Advisor Hon. Sam Engola has been praised by officials from the University of Lahore in Pakistan for his tireless contributions to the education and health sectors. The chairman and founder of the university, Prof. Awais, commended Hon. Engola during a welcome function, highlighting his unwavering commitment to improving lives through education and healthcare.
Hon. Engola’s engagement with the University of Lahore has led to the establishment of Equator University, which now offers health programs in Uganda. This partnership stands as a strong bond between Uganda and Pakistan, with Hon. Engola playing a pivotal role in fostering this collaboration.
The University of Lahore is currently in the process of partnering with Uganda Christian Institute (UCI) based in Lira city, a prominent institution in Uganda located in the heart of Lira City. A delegation led by Hon. Engola, comprising Bonny Okello Alele, Assistant Resident City Commissioner Lira City and Director of Corporate Affairs and International Relations, and Sam Omara, Director General of UCI, was flagged off by Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, Minister of Health and Woman MP Lira City.
Dr. Aceng, celebrated for her significant improvements and developments in the health sector, guided the delegation to seize opportunities to enhance health and education services in Lango. Hon. Engola and Dr. Aceng are the masterminds behind this 10-day international engagement, aimed at benefiting the people of Uganda and Lango specifically in health and education.
This recognition by Pakistan officials underscores Hon. Engola’s dedication to creating positive change in Uganda and beyond. His efforts have not only improved lives but have also fostered international partnerships, paving the way for a brighter future in education and healthcare.
Hon. Sam has started building projects to support many sectors including business entrepreneurs right from 1977 to data. All what he ĥas done are avaliable seen in Uganda. Thank God shall guide him more.
