Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero joins St. Augustine Barogole Congregation for fundraising drive, donates 6 million shillings cash.

Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero who also doubles as Woman MP Lira City joined the Christians of St. Augustine Barogole today for a fundraising drive aimed at beautifying and expanding the church.

The event, expertly mobilized by Lira City’s renowned mobilizer Ebuk Sam aka Sam Samu, was filled with joy and enthusiasm as Dr. Aceng participated alongside the congregation. Her presence brought immense delight, underscoring her dedication to the community.

Dr. Aceng generously contributed 6 million shillings in cash and supported various small initiatives during the fundraising drive. Her kindness was met with gratitude and admiration from the congregation.

Technical Advisor to the Woman MP, Emma Okite, praised the congregation for their affection towards Dr. Aceng, citing her selfless service to the community. “Dr. Aceng loves her people, and St. Augustine COU Barogole is one of her cherished churches,” Okite emphasized. “Unlike some politicians, Dr. Aceng genuinely cares for her constituents.”

In her remarks, Dr. Aceng expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support she receives. “I’m blessed to serve the people of Lango,” she said. “As Minister of Health, I’m proud to be part of one of the top five prioritized ministries by H.E Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.”
