Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, Uganda’s Minister of Health and Lira City MP, is empowering future women leaders through an ambitious mentorship program. This initiative encourages young girls to prioritize education and overcome obstacles.
During a meeting with students from Nancy and Shaunti Secondary School for the Deaf, Dr. Aceng emphasized the importance of staying in school and focusing on academic growth. “To you, my dear daughters and sons who are here at school, please stay in here, please take your studies seriously and avoid things that will take you out of school,” she urged.
Dr. Aceng’s program aims to inspire and support young leaders in Lira City and the Lango sub-region.
