LIRA, UGANDA | July 18, 2025 – The highly anticipated Dwog Pacu Cup 2025 is progressing steadily and reaches a critical stage tomorrow as the Quarter Finals officially kick off at UTC Lira playground.
After an electrifying Match Day Five on Friday, July 18, the group stages have wrapped up in style, producing surprises, heartbreaks, and new records.
After observing a break on Thursday to honor the NRM party primaries, the tournament resumed today with nine thrilling matches hosted across two main venues: UTC Lira and Lango College playgrounds, marking the end of the group stage.
Otuke East made history as the first team to book a spot in the Quarter Finals, finishing Group A with a perfect 15 points after Oyam North failed to honor their final game.

Kioga Constituency, Dokolo North, and Erute North also sealed their spots in the last eight.
Star forward Andrew Otim continued his sensational form with another hat trick today, bringing his goal tally to 8 goals, leading the Golden Boot race.

The Opening Quarter Final Match shall be at 3:00PM,Lira City West vs Maruzi Constituency.
According to the PRO of Dwog Pacu Cup, Abel Ogwang, all knockout matches from the Quarter Finals onward will be hosted exclusively at UTC Lira to enhance coordination and crowd management.
