Under the blazing sun, the students gathered—curious, expectant, and eager to hear from a lineup of influential youth figures from the Lango sub-region.

The session wasn’t just a motivational talk—it was a life-changing encounter.‎‎Among the standout speakers was Miss Ritah Alobo, the reigning Miss Tourism Heritage Northern Uganda. With grace and authenticity, she shared her journey and offered heartfelt advice, particularly to the young girls in the audience.‎‎

“Girls, you have the power to lead. Don’t wait for someone to give you permission. You’re strong. You’re smart. Step forward.”‎‎Her words were met with wide eyes, nods, and silent determination. Her message—raw and real—cut through the noise of everyday teenage doubts and planted seeds of courage.‎‎

Besides,Sedrick Otolo, co-founder of The Unlimited Youths, whose raw delivery electrified the crowd.‎‎“You don’t have to be rich or popular to make a difference. You just need to believe in the gift God placed inside you,” he told the students.‎‎

He spoke of his personal journey—his missteps and his turning point—urging the youth to “seize their moment” and live intentionally.‎‎

Emmanuel Ogwal, Director of The Unlimited Youths, followed with a calm but powerful message about character and integrity.‎‎“Leadership starts when you choose to do the right thing, even when it’s hard,” he said. “It’s about becoming someone others can look up to.”‎‎

Adding flair to the event was Ibrahim, a vibrant dancer whose energy captivated the entire school without even needing a mic. His message was clear:‎‎“Your talent is your way out. Your way up. Use it.”‎‎He encouraged students to explore their gifts—whether in art, music, or leadership—and use them as tools for transformation.

‎‎To close the session, rising musical star Vismon took the stage. His performance had students singing along in unison, but it was his parting words that resonated deeply:‎‎“Music has taken me places—but I never gave up on education. Talent needs a foundation. Education is that foundation.”‎‎

As the session ended, teachers and students alike were filled with renewed hope. One teacher remarked, “This is the kind of mentorship our youth need. Please come again.”‎‎

Students lingered behind excitedly sharing ideas and dreams sparked during the program.‎‎
